How to Really Conquer Disneyland: The FASTPASS

Ok, readers, we are going to start with a simple time saver called: FastPasses. If used properly, your Disney experience will be that much better! Having gone to Disneyland many, MANY times over the years, I've developed a list of the best rides to get FastPasses for. Believe me when I say it's worth it!

Disneyland:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
*Space Mountain
*Indiana Jones
Splash Mountain
Autopia- This line can get out of control, and it also breaks down frequently, my best advice is to wait until the ride breaks down, wait the hour it takes for them to reboot, and then jump in the 15 minute line as soon as reoopens.

*These two rides will ALWAYS have a long line, and you don't want to miss the ride experience, but the waiting is torture. These should be the FIRST 2 fastpasses you get in the morning, because they will be gone by 3 or 4pm.

California Adventure:

Soarin' Over California
*Radiator Springs Racers
**World of Color
Grizzly River Run
Tower of Tower

*If you have any desire whatsover to ride Radiator Springs Racers, you MUST get this FastPass as soon as you enter the park. Fastpasses are normally gone for this ride by 10-11am
** World of Color is a Water Fountain Show and a MUST see. You can get fastpasses for this at the beginning of the day to guarantee good seats for the show!
**  TIP: This will NOT affect getting fastpasses for the rest of the day. You can continue getting Fastpasses for rides throughout your visit.

Once, you know "how" to FastPass you are ready for my family's technique to "SUPER HOW" Disneyland.

Here it comes:

The SUPER HOW is the method my family uses to truly conquer Disneyland and make the most of our vacation, WARNING: This method is not for the faint of heart, and is best used by those who know their way around the parks.

TIP: The best way to make use of your time is to split up your group. While everyone in your party heads to a ride that does not have a FastPass option, one SPEEDY member of your group takes everyone's tickets and heads toward your number one desired ride. They retreive the tickets and meet the rest of your group at the other ride. By the time you get off your ride, you will be that much closer to using your fastpasses! *Note: (Disclaimer) Not everyone in line will be compliant if your party is at the front of the line when you join up with them! So move quickly!

TIP: A lot of people do not know that if they get their fastpass at 11am and the time slot isn't until 6pm, you DO NOT have to wait until 6 to get another ticket. Disney just recently changed their policy on this. At the bottom of your FP you will see the time at which you can get another Fastpass. It is normally a 2 hour time gap. That means you can carry around multiple FastPasses for different rides all at the same time!

Well folks, I wish you the best of luck on your vacation and I hope this page helps you conquer the
Happiest Place on Earth!
